Well here we are once again, wrapping up another eventful year. And, oh my, what an exciting year it’s been. We witnessed Brexit, enjoyed the Summer Olympics, tolerated another nasty Presidential campaign, were blown away by the Chicago Cubs winning the World Series, and a host of other national, world and personal events.
So whether or not you made it through this year happy and unscathed, it’s time to enjoy the holidays and reflect on those we are thankful for in our lives. Those special folks who not only bring us joy, but often challenges into our worlds, helping us to grow.
How can we say ‘thank you’ to our co-workers, teachers, babysitters, dog walkers, and other special people? It might break the budget to buy everyone a nice bottle of wine or even a gift certificate to Starbucks. You may find yourself picking and choosing because the expense to recognize everyone may just be too great. How can you make a beautiful and festive statement of gratitude telling everyone how much you’ve appreciated the camaraderie and support over the past year and it still be affordable?
