Aaron Ebbert is the assistant baker at Cupcake Crazy! He has the pleasure of working with his sisters, Lauren and Kristen and is surrounded by women all day at Cupcake Crazy. Not so sure if that is good or bad:) Aaron is 19 years old and is a student at The University of Cincinnati. He will be a sophomore next year studying Business Entrepreneurship. He wanted a job and his choices were to work with his Dad in the car business or come work with all of us and thankfully he is a part our our team as he sure is a pleasure to have around! When Aaron was a junior and senior at Anderson High School he took Business classes and did internships with Cupcake Crazy both years so he gained a lot of experience in many aspects of the business. He and his friends, who were also in the class, would run to Sam’s and other places purchasing huge quantities of sugar and butter and all of the other ingredients we needed. When we started the business out of our house we had to go out and purchase everything. Aaron did a lot of deliveries as well. He always helps getting ready for the Cincinnati Chocolate Festival and got pretty good at cake pops. He and his friend Greg dipped about 3500 of them for our display the first year!
In Aaron’s free time he LOVES tennis. He loves to play and loves to watch matches. He can’t wait for the ATP Tennis tournament this August in Cincinnati! Aaron loves to watch movies and play video games, shoot basketball, hang out with friends and waterski! He also loves animals. He gets very excited when Kristen brings her dog Baxter over to hang out:) Aaron loves to hang out with family and is fun to be around. I surely was blessed when it comes to kids.

We are so excited we have tons of fresh picked blueberries at Cupcake Crazy! Lauren and Kristen were up at the crack of dawn Saturday and headed off to pick fresh blueberries . It was opening day for blueberry picking at Rouster’s Apple House in Milford. They went with their friend Elizabeth Leavy. It is was a berrylicious day for them:) I am sure they ate a pound of blueberries before they got them to the store! We will definitely be making lemon blueberry cupcakes, white chocolate blueberry cupcakes and blueberry pancake cupcakes. I am sure we will come up with a new recipe of 2 for fun. Just keep watching our menu and you will see the flavors.
The good news is blueberries are packed with antioxidants and vitamin C. They are high in fiber and have about 85 calories in a whole cup! Check out this healthy recipe I found on the Web MD.We are planning to give it a try at home. It sure sounds good!

Gotta love Facebook! We sure do! If you have not been on our Facebook page please check it out. Since before the days of our store we have been on Facebook as Cupcake Crazy. I have a Facebook page personally but I never use it because I am having way too much fun interacting with all of you on Cupcake Crazy’s page. One page is enough for me to keep up on:)
It is not possible for us to put all of the fun things we do on our website so we try to make sure each day to post a fun picture of something that is going on in the store that day. We are VERY visual people and think that the posts are so much more fun when a picture is included. We do post our flavor selection daily on Facebook as well as the website. MANY people come in with a list knowing what flavors they want when they get there.
On Facebook we post some of our upcoming events so that you all have the opportunity to participate in them. One of the most popular things we do on Facebook is our FREE STUFF Friday. Every Friday we give away a dozen cupcakes or cake pops or something like that. We like to change the giveaways depending on what we have going on. For example, today we gave away a dozen Fourth of July cupcakes to someone! Be sure and check in on our Facebook page around Wednesday when we post what our FREE STUFF Friday giveaway will be. The only thing you need to do to enter is make a comment on the post. We ask a fun questions and you just respond. We love hearing what you have to say to us.:) We REALLY appreciate when you share our page with your friends as that helps us a lot.
We LOVE to see the activity on our Facebook Page! It really helps make our jobs so much fun. Everyday we have many of our Facebook fans in the store. Facebook has been such an amazing way for us to grow our business! Thank you so much to everyone who follows our Facebook page! We appreciate your feedback and love to hear your opinions. You guys are AWESOME!
