Opening Day for Monitor

Opening Day is just a few days away and we are ready with Opening Day Baseball Treats! We will be open in OTR on Monday, April 4th form 11am to 4pm so that you are able to stop in for these treats when you are out enjoying all of the activities of the day. We will have baseball cake pops, cupcakes and cookies at both of our locations!

Washington Park’s Opening Day celebration kicks off at 11 a.m., in our Neighborhood, with games and music by Cherry on Top. Event goers can watch the Findlay Market parade go by on Elm Street from bleacher seating on the park’s Music Hall Plaza. Afterward, stick around for more music, family-friendly activities and food from Wertheim’s and Washington Park’s concession stand, which also will serve beer, wine, mixed drinks, soft drinks and water.

If you don’t have tickets for the game- no worries – a giant LED screen will be set up for watching the Reds take on the Cardinals right in Washington Park.

Details: 11 a.m. Monday, 1230 Race St., Over-the-Rhine. Free. 513-352-4080; washingtonpark.org.

The Opening Day parade starts at Noon! Since 1920, this parade has made its way from Findlay Market in Over-the-Rhine through the streets of downtown each spring to kick off the Cincinnati Reds baseball season. Bring a chair and get ready to party  at either Washington Park or Fountain Square as the parade passes by. The celebration continues throughout the day at Fountain Square with concessions and watching the game on the big screen. Show your Reds pride and step out for some fun on Monday!

We hope that you will stop in and visit us in OTR on Monday as we will be open to help make the celebration extra special. After all what is a celebrations without cake? If you can’t get downtown to celebrate we will be open all day at the Montgomery Rd location from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm.
