The Flying Pig Marathon:

 

 

 

 

The Flying Pig Marathon is a 42.195km (26.2 mi) race run the first Sunday of every May in Cincinnati.  It’s first run was in 1999.  It’s the 3rd largest marathon in the United States!  In the past few years the Flying Pig Marathon has added a 5k, 10k, and a half-marathon in addition to the traditional marathon race.  In 2014, they added a 2 mile “Flying Fur” event for dogs and humans to participate in.  To learn more about the Flying Pig Marathon click here!

Women Helping Women:

Women Helping Women provides crisis intervention and support services for women and men who are survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and stalking in Hamilton County, Ohio and survivors of sexual assault in Butler County, Ohio.  The agency also takes a leading role in building awareness in the community to prevent these crimes.  To learn more about Women Helping Women click here!
